I will not wear it but I’ll try to be it - GREEN

A few years ago I worked at a wonderful not-for-profit environmental organisation. The irony was I got this job based on the life decision that I was not going to work for money anymore… I was going to work for the greater good (and hopefully be paid quite nicely for it). I truly believe that this is the way to go (if you can) and that nearly every job is super important in one way or another if you think about how it benefits man-kind. Getting back to the irony, I was the least environmentally friendly person I knew! But slowly those wonderful greenies got me… they made me think about saving the planet, about how small changes can be collectively huge and that one person can indeed make a difference.

Here are my very modest suggestions on easy ways to become greener (most of which you may do already so be proud):

  • Buy from op shops and wear vintage clothes more often. There are ample inspirational blogs of everyday people looking stunning in vintage clothing.
  • Have shorter showers. Daydream in bed if you must!
  • Use natural beauty products that come in less packaging. I am loving the Sukin range from Priceline at the moment.
  • Cut down on meat consumption. Inspiration – creamy pumpkin soup, vegetable stir fries and mushroom with melted feta cheese.
  • Cut down on using the car. The French and Japanese are slimmer then the rest of us because they walk all the time!
  • Cut down on buying/consuming. Try the $21 Challenge.
  • Use certified green gas and electricity.
  • Buy organic and free range products when you can. The word has spread how much appreciation I have for organic stuff that my parents’ friends have been donating from their gardens to me. I am talking tomatoes, lemons, lettuce, zucchini and spinach to name a few. How lucky am I?! I still love farmers' markets though.
  • Try and use public transport when it is an option. It’s not really that bad during the daytime.
  • Switch appliances off at the powerpoint. I’m so anal with this it ain’t funny!
  • Refuse plastic bags.
  • Bulk buy and freeze up.
  • Throw things in the bin where they belong. How horrible is it when you see people tiff their Maccas out of their car window?
  • Create and love your own garden. My parents do this and Jamie Durie could even learn a thing or two from them! Even one plant is lovely!
  • Use recycled paper. Not suggesting you use newspapers instead of toilet rolls but recycled toilet paper ain’t really that bad!
  • Use energy saving light bulbs.
  •  Watch less TV and enjoy nature more often! A sweet walk with someone you love is divine!

Night @ the Pub!

Night @ the Pub!
Night @ the Pub! by sawyoulovedyou on Polyvore.com
Ever since I was introduced to Polyvore by Dee I have been addicted to creating outfit combinations. Last night I finally settled on tonight's outfit. How those people just throw things on is beyond me! It toke over an hour of intense consideration. I wanted a look that was chic yet a little raunchy (only a little), slimming, girly yet a little tough and pretty yet not too Doris Day! Saying I have a massive wardrobe is an understatement. At last count I have over seventy dresses (not counting the eight I just sold on ebay!)! One of these procrastinating from doing real work days I will photograph them all.

The vinyl leggings are coming out to play tonight. When I first thought bought them I thought I was being very very risque in an Olivia Netwon John/Sandy "tell me about it stud" way! I always pair them with a longish top or a shortish dress to minimise the damage of looking like Sandra Dee. Hope you like my "cas" outfit for the day!

My Daily Uniform

My Daily Uniform
I mix and match quite a bit depending on my mood, plans for the day and whether a new purchase has joined by humble wardrobe. I don't keep things for special occasions... I wear them pretty much out of the shop! I am always known for wearing some kind of heels even at work and even during what others may deem inappropriate occasions. But I just think hey I love them and if it ain't hurting anyone then all's good.

Whenever I am having a mini crisis I just revert to my uniform: distressed skinny leg jeans, a black comfy top, black over the knee boots, my red bag (which fits in half my life!), green scarf knitted by one of my besties and my navy trench. I have worn this kind of outfit to work, to the football, on dates, out for coffees and even shopping.

It is wise to disclose what cannot be concealed. (Von Schiller- German poet)

We all have them. Some we only know about. Some we share with others. Some we share with only one other person because we have to. We put so much trust that they will never disclose it. Everyone has them. Some are insane. Some are beautiful. Some are horrific. Some have the potential to hurt beyond repair. Some are calculated lies. Some are promises. Some are so complicated that we think no one would ever understand them. Some are explosive. Some are innocent. Some are unforgiving. Some are everything. Some are nothing.

Secrets.

PostSecret is an ongoing project, created by Frank Warren, in which people mail their secrets anonymously on a homemade postcard. It has been around for ages (well since 2005). It is fascinating, shocking, riveting and confronting. Warren has a particular system about how he selects the secrets, only displays twenty postcards at a time and has no online archives. It is his baby so he can call the shots. Others online have taken it upon themselves to archive some secrets. He gets over 300 secrets a day to his home address from all over the world. Here are some of the more "less confronting" secrets...

Sometimes you just need to tell someone… anyone! In fact one of them may just indeed be mine...:)

King met Queen. Queen kissed King. Then they had love!

I was decluttering my email (yes I am a decluttering maniac – I can do it anytime and anywhere and in any state of emotion!) and stumbled upon this saved email. I thought it was pretty cute and thought I’d share it. It was written by kids… kids are a lot smarter and more truthful then we give them credit for!

How do you decide who to marry?
You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming.
(Alan, age 10)

No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with.
(Kristen, age 10)

What should people do on a date?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.
(Lynnette, age 8)

On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.
(Martin, age 10)

What would you do on a first date that was turning sour?
I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.
(Craig, age  8)

When is it okay to kiss someone?
When they're rich.
(Pam, age 7)

The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that.
(Curt, age 7)

The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do.
(Howard, age 8)

Is it better to be single or married?
It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.
(Anita, age 9)

How would you make a marriage work?
Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a dump truck.
(Ricky, age 10)

A lady is one who never shows her underwear unintentionally. (Lillian Day)

There are two types of women: women who dress to impress men and women who dress to impress other women. My bunch of girlfriends are a combination and on any given outing may be wearing leopard mini skirts, tight black hipster jeans, halter neck cleavage revealing dresses or on the other end of the spectrum wooden clogs, purple ballerina puff skirts and sequined suit jackets. For as long as I can remember I have been dressing for the ladies of the world! I’d much rather look uber chic then racy, hence I’d much rather be stopped in the toilets by a girl asking me where I got my dress then be gawked at by my beer drinking comrades for showing too much skin! (Actually it makes my night when I get compliments from random women!)

So where is this going? In fashion there are no rules and in life well rules were made to be broken! My whole fashion theology changed when I was introduced to one lovely lady – Ms Victoria 's Secret. Yes I am aware she has been around the block for awhile now, yes I am aware she has an international website, yes the models are phenomenally stunning, yes I have watched the fashion spectacular runway show… but up until six months ago I had never been a VS lover/addict! Well that is until I entered the flagship store in Hawaii. I feel utterly and desperately Notebook style in love with everything and like any life-changing relationship I knew would never be quite the same again!
Victoria's Secret

For well and truly over three hours I carried around that simple yet functional black shopper’s bag and threw in bundles of delightful items. The sales consultants (“assistants” does not seem warranting enough) were sassy, super helpful yet not pushy in the slightest, the shop layout was an intricate maze similar to what I imagine heaven to look like and the change rooms were a boudoir experience!

I spent a lot of moula at Victoria… and I don’t regret a single cent! I walked out with a shopper’s high carrying a couple of hoodies from the Pink range, hot pink none of your business stuff, vintage track pants, acid wash skinny leg jeans, four bras literally known as miracles, silk black nightie, six funky patterned undies and six perfumes (yes they even do perfumes!). Since that enlightened experience and now that I am back in the land that does not have VS I have transferred my binges to online purchases… which is yet to disappoint (although postage is a bit steep!).

So where is this going? Well in my humble fashionista opinion Victoria Secret does to women what no label is able to do… it makes ladies dress to impress their lady friends but it also impresses the boys if only fleetingly! Indeed it was a spunky male who commented on my lime green ‘Love Pink’ hoodie as being “really cool”!

Victoria's Secret
I heart you Victoria's Secret. Thanks for coming into my life and shaking it upside down in so many ways!

I always wanted to spend quality time in a trailer park!

Some people dream big. They want an open plan house on the beach made of marble! Me – well one day I’d love to have a caravan with an annexe (little extension). A lovely woman I work with has one and I constantly enquire about this delight and how it is going on that lonely side street a couple of blocks from that popular surf beach!

Caravan Park Photo
I fantasise about owning a trailer with a bar fridge, wooden TV that only plays DVDs because it didn’t transfer to digital, a bookcase full of trashy paperbacks, mismatched furniture, a couch that has wear, tear and a fold out bed and sharing a bathroom with the other trailer strangers (soon to become just like family)!

One can only aspire!!!

I've become a real believer in not defining every single thing. Seems like everytime you think you've figured out what something is, it just becomes something else.

I can still remember the first time I watched this show … a lonnnggg time ago! I was at a hospital waiting for my mum to get out of surgery flicking through the channels on one of those tiny hospital TVs with a limited volume remote control. As soon as it started I was absolutely hooked! I forgot where I was, why I was there and what was going on!

Felicity (a rare breed of cool nerd) had this mad infatuation with Ben (there are no words to describe how ultimate this guy is). At the end of high school he writes the following in her yearbook.

Dear Felicity,

Here it goes. I watched you for four years, always wondered what you were like, and what was going on in your mind all that time when you were so quiet, just thinking. Drawing in your notebook. I should've just asked you, but I never asked you. So now, four years later, I don't even know you. But I admire you. Well, that makes me sound crazy, but I'm okay with that. So take care of yourself.
Love,
Ben.

PS I would've said, "Keep in touch," but unfortunately, we were never in touch.

So what does this clever cookie about to venture into a career in medicine do when there is a chance that her ultimate guy may have some kind of feelings for her? Felicity cancels all rational plans and moves to New York to stalk Ben. That’s when all the other dramas start to happen and all these amazing characters are created including Noel (he becomes Felicity’s first boyfriend ), Julie (I actually didn’t really like her!), Elena, Meghan (Felicity’s crazy roommate), Sean and Javier… It should be noted that I actually know a Felicityesque girl who did the same thing… different city though… IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA!

I loved the raw emotion, shame, passion, stalking, humour and awkwardness in this show. I learnt a lot about life from Felicity! One of which is big deal say what you really think to people... it won't matter at all in five years time how bad of a psychotic freak you look like!

So here are some of my fav quotes:

When your heart gets broken, you start to see the cracks in everything. It's my belief that the world is out to harden us, and it is our mission never to let it.
(Sally – one of Felicity’s friends)

Sometimes it's the simplest decisions that can pretty much change your life forever.
(Felicity)

- About that thing... where you said you had feelings for me?
- Oh... don't worry about me, I'm a sensitive guy. I have feelings for lots of girls.

(Felicity & Noel)

I kissed you the other night... you know that - you were there.
(Noel)

Look, I... I understand why you rather see Felicity with someone like Noel. Someone who's obviously going to make it. And probably long before, I mean, I figure out what I'm going to be doing with my life. But I always remember this one thing a teacher said, which was, all the interesting people she knew they had no idea what they were going to do with their lives when they were 20. So chances are, I'm going to turn out to be a pretty interesting guy. Look, for some reason, Felicity cares about me. And on a good day, I feel like I might become everything she sees in me. It is because of that, it is because of about a million other reasons that she means pretty much the world to me
(Ben)

Maybe getting over someone you’re in love with isn’t impossible. Unless, maybe you don’t actually get over it. Maybe you just learn to live with it.
(Felicity)

I've made a lot, alot of mistakes in my life and nobody knows that more than you do, but the biggest mistake I've ever made was letting you go. What I should have done is realize that being with you made me the luckiest guy in the planet..."
(Ben)

And just for the record… I liked Noel the nice guy better, those "ultimate" guys come with too many problems!

A dog can express more with his tail in seconds than his owner can express with his tongue in hours.

Pepsi
Last year I got myself into a sticky situation (well okay several but 2009 was an eventful year)…  I got a dog. I wanted a “little” Bouncer so badly and so quickly that I went against the better judgement of every single person I know and went to some random shop and got a puppy from a breed I knew nothing about.

Pepsi Costanza was absolutely adorable but barked constantly (and I mean constantly), destroyed our gas heater (pleasant discovery one morning as I was about to have a shower), ruined the sprinkler system and was a Kelpie (farm dog). He was your average energetic puppy and his mischief was no fault of his own! He was so cheeky that he was segregated from the other pups at puppy school, yet he melted the heart of everyone he met.

Pepsi and I were completely incompatible and it didn't matter how many times a day he was walked and played with he simply needed more stimulation. He needed to work! This poor little mutt needed a farm and sheep to round up not a landscaped terrace. So being the stubbornessa that I am I stuck out this turbulent relationship (I have a great knack for that) for a year before my body corporate intervened.

Luckily Pepsi Costanza is in a much better place now with owners giving him the time and space he needs. I got this link below in an email from a bestie, I just thought I must put it on my new little addiction… Maybe someone somewhere will read this and sign or it will make someone somewhere use far better judgement then I did when investing in man's best friend. I am glad that I am now far more educated about this issue and hope you can learn from my mistake. If you want a pooch then rescue a dog, seek the advice of animal experts when choosing the right pet for you and do not support mass production of little puppies that end up unwanted/euthanised dogs.

Some like Sean Connery but John Marsden does it for me!

John Marsden
Standing in the queue of the cinema I had a little battle of my own last night. Our options: The Other Guys versus Tomorrow, When the War Began. I was leading the charge for the latter and this was based primarily on my infatuation with Mr John Marsden. Challenges were met with astonished questions.

“Do you not know who John Marsden is? Have you not read any of his books? Didn’t you read his books in high school? Did you not see him on Australian Story? Did you know he has his own school? Don’t you want to support Australian cinema? Did you know that John (first name basis by now) once sent me a personal reply to an email I sent him? Did you know he is a really nice guy?”

Then I got nasty on Will Ferrell…

“Have you not seen Talladega Nights? Yeah okay Stepbrothers was funny but you can’t guarantee this will be funny…he is an idiot most of the time.”

Then I ripped out the ultimate ballbreaker line (I promise I don’t do this that often and I was clutching at straws!).

“You watch your movie and I’ll watch mine and we can meet at the end.”

If you are a solo cinema watching virgin you probably THINK that you’d be less shamed attending a nudist colony on your own! So I won that war justtttt but I promised to be less of a stubborn mule next Tight Tuesday!

Anyways Tomorrow, When the War Began was good. I liked it. I probably could have lived to see it on the small screen but some of the effects were pretty blockbuster and I liked the characters/actors. The only thing I didn’t like is it doesn’t end – surprise surprise just like the series of books (there are seven) it is to be continued. I think someone may be cashing in on the saga series style of movies?

There is a cheeky line in the movie where the main character Ellie says, “The books are always better then the movies.” So right hey.

I love to read and I adore libraries like some people adore the pub/casino/strippers. I overdose on books and just don’t know how to rationalise the experience of borrowing from the libs (I still can’t even believe I can take these gems home after all the fines I have accrued – it must be noted that I borrow on my Dad’s card now as a result!). Last night got me thinking about the books of my preteen era… and how they shaped me as a person.  There are three distinct books that have changed my life.

I took this collection very very seriously. I purchased all and I mean all of them up to number #56 Keep Out Claudia including the Super Specials and Friends Forever. Like I did with my magazines – I categorised these little puppies and reread them over and over again. I never wanted to be a babysitter but I devoured these books simultaneous with a can of Pringles Sour Cream & Chives on a daily basis.

I stumbled upon a blog What Claudia Wore recently. It is absolutely hysterical. A blogger is sifting her way through the series and a hilarious analysis is given on each book. A must read for any true BC lover!

2. Everything Judy Blume
I love love her! She is a riveting author who writes about growing up, life changing relationships you have as a thirteen year old, first kisses, parents splitting up, feeling alone…oh she is amazing! A lady that remembers what it’s like to be a teen!

I was so Blubber (a fat kid!). I was so Margaret chatting away to God (lonely and friendless on school holidays). It was so the end of the world (still am pretty overdramatic). Recently I was at one of these crazy warehouse book expos and in the mirage of shirty paperbacks I stumbled across Summer Sisters. Summer Sisters is a book written by Blume for the adult market… it didn’t let me down. I cocooned myself for the following 24 hours and devoured it (this time with Sakata biscuits).

My favourite book of hers is Forever. I still remember making the purchase at a school book fair as a twelve year old. Clearly someone ordering the books for these kiddies was just not doing their job right. I didn’t purchase it knowing it was an education into the human body. Got on the bus with my fellow grade 6ers and eagerly started reading… Oh myyyyy God! That little paperback gave me more insight then my sister’s Cosmopolitans ever did. Since then I have probably read it ohhh at least fifteen times but I now scan away to the good parts! Go Judy!!!

3. Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews
In the Attic
For someone who claims not to really like series – I loved this book and everything by V.C. Andrews (may she RIP and may her pseudonym stop and give it up as she will never be as good as the original). There is just wayyyyy too much in these books to justify a synopsis. Let’s just say that it puts Bold and the Beautiful to shame! It has even been banned in some countries!

I was so cringeworthingly in love with this book that when the movie was on TV (usually really late at night) I would actually tape it on video… and then regularly watch it! What demented ten year old does this?

A kiddie I know has started reading this book and I want to snatch it off her and say this is not for you… but then I realise that is massively the pot calling the kettle black! The local librarian did not say that to me when I reserved Petals on the Wind, If There Be Thorns, Seeds of Yesterday, and Garden of Shadows (the rest of the series) in the one hit as a ten turning eleven year old girl! So who am I to make judgements?

Fashion saves a lot more lives then doctors – Ms Bruno Baby

Fashion is and always will be a passionate lover of mine. It picks me up when I am down, it is a creative outlet for my ego and is the ultimate daily art form.

The 15 Fashion Questions Tag has been floating around the web for a little while so I thought I’d spend the time to have a little think about my own style (who am I kidding? – I love overanaylsing myself).

1. What is your favourite style to wear?
So sweet and girly!
I am and always will be a girl’s girl when it comes to clothing. I adore dresses – floral and fifties style, vintage romantic silk slips and short, sharp black numbers.  I love pretty and romantic clothing with ruffles, interesting details and lace. I am a distressed jeans addict and believe that every wardrobe needs a skinny pair of black jeans. I feel my most comfortable in heels and don’t own any flats… It kills me to invest in runners (but hey that happens every five years).

I wear jeans to work, dresses to play, leggings to chill and vintage style slips to sleep.

2. Who is your fashion role model?
Rachel Bilson
This depends on my mood. I used to really like Jessica Simpson’s cheesy style when she was married to Nick Lachey but then something went disastrously wrong… so forget that!

In no particular order Rachel Bilson, Carine Roitfeld (Editor of French Vogue), Chloe Sevigny, Kate Moss and Drew Barrymore (on a good day!).

Carrie Bradshaw inspires me to take risks but I am well aware that she is a cleverly constructed fashion character created by Patricia Fields.

I think Nicole Kidman is extremely daggy (I have not used the word since primary school) because her red carpet look is so designer constructed Prada, Dior or Chanel. (How horribly unAustralian of me to think this!)
My earings

My real role models are the super creative real people on blogs all over the world styling up vintage dresses, maximizing their wardobes and looking pretty immaculate with chipped nail polish.

3. What do you always have on?
My Swarovski "Angelic" studs, tinted moisturiser and whatever lipgloss I can find in my bag.

4. What are your favourite jeans?
I have always wished to be a Bettina Liano Ace purchaser but they just don’t flatter me. My favourite pair of jeans is actually from the Tommy Hilfiger Denim Range of 07. I first spotted them in Munich whilst on holidays but I walked away and left them (idiot!). My heart ached for the one that got away so I scoured all of Singapore a few months later and luckily found them. I am loving Jeans West skinny jeans at the moment and won’t knock back high-waisted Sportsgirl jeans on sale either.
Jeans West

5. What are your favourite sunglasses?
The super cheapo funky ones that channel any fashionista. I got carried away in Venice and succumbed to a pair of Diors… lets just say that they are probably sitting underneath my car seat scratched and out of shape because I just don’t care enough about the 200 euro that they cost me.

6. What are your favourite shoes?
I have two and surprisingly they are very similar. Pink high heels with bows. They are both from Mollini (may the label RIP) and just divine. The first (and probably most loved) pale pink heels have never been worn – yes you read write I love them so much that they have been sitting in pristine condition wrapped in tissue paper for sevennnnnn years! Everytime I have considered wearing them and bought them out for show and tell to a girlfriend the response has always been the same, “Are you sure you want to do this?” I might just have to save them for my funeral!

The second hot Barbie pink pair never fail to receive compliments. I had a 60 plus year old man on the street say, “Darling they are beautiful” (and yes I am sure he was looking at my size 36 and a half feet!) They deserve a feature blog of their own!

7. Who influenced you to write about fashion?
My absolute obsession with magazines, my friend Dee, my need for a creative outlet and the hope that my Media Studies degree was not done in vain considering I work in a completely unrelated industry where fashion is the least of my concerns!

8. What is your favourite store?
Alannah Hill
As the years go by oh how the answer to this has evolved… once upon a time I would ohhh and ahhh at everything in Witchery and Country Road (stalk their websites on a daily basis even)… and an even longer time ago when dinosaurs were around I loved Dangerfield. Now not so much….

My favourite stores are Alannah Hill, Cue, Camilla and Marc, Forever New and this cheap Asian shop with racks of $8 clothing at my local shopping centre.

9. What is your favourite fashion blog?
Way too many to mention. Of course little o by wolfbrother and Lady Melbourne. I avidly stalk all the streetstyle and vintage loving girls/women around the world. I am not a fan of those who splash their designer label belts, shoes and bags and think that’s style.

10 What is your favourite fabric?
Silk and lace – the perfect camisole combination.

11. Who is your favourite model?
I don’t really have one… genetic perfection is luck of the draw so models just don’t inspire me. Having said that I reserve a special place for the original supermodels of the 80s/90s (Claudia, Elle, Kate, Christy etc) because of their staying power.

12. If you had $5000 to spend on one item what would it be?
I just couldn’t justify one purchase for this amount! But if I must – a quilted Chanel bag. I  already have a vintage one that God blessed upon me and she is one classy lady.

13. Heels or flats?
Heels!!!!!!!! I don’t own any flats. Okay I will rephrase that I don’t want to own any flats. Something Victoria Beckham and I have in common.

Betsey Johnson
14. What type of purse do you currently use?
A sexy Betsey Johnson black, leather, studded and frilled purse. A purchase made in Hawaii this year. Betsey Johnson is on the same wave length as Alannah Hill but based in the USA. I just found out last night whilst watching Fashion Police that Kelly Osbourne is in love with her too.

15. Is fashion in your blood or your jeans?
Your jeans… you have to work it! Having said that I have a few of my mum’s vintage dresses from the 70s in my closet and they are simply gorgeous!

I always knew if we got to know each other we would be great friends (and rule the world together from our living rooms).

My inspiration for starting this blog is based on a plethora of obsessions: beautifully styled clothing, a love of magazines (I used to categorise my Dolly and Gilfriends), trying to lead a champagne lifestyle on a beer budget, scrapbooking, daydreaming, self-improvement, all things girly and an uncanny yet blissful belief that I may indeed have something interesting to share with others. I am an avid “stalker” of other people’s blogs and without a doubt have been mesmerized by the lives of interesting, beautiful, funny and unique personas of the blogging world.

But the biggest inspiration came from one of my bestest friends forever (BFsF)… one of the most creative, naturally beautiful, wise, worldly and strong women I know!

We often rehash the story of how we first became friends… it was outfit lust at first sight (although as the years go by the interpretation of our outfits seem to change somewhat). It was nearly fifteen years ago. She was wearing a white pant suit (way before Angelina Jolie) with white heels. Me well I was beginning my 50s obsession mode, a pink gingham shift dress, pale pink Sportsgirl denim jacket (so 90s so wish I had listened to my Mum and kept it) and platform sneakers (the Spice Girls were HUGE so forgive me), I thought Dee was the most chic girl at the party and she apparently thought who is this mixture of Baby/Ginger Spice dressed so differently to all the other Dotti/Hound Dog/Portmans/Central Lane wearing girls?

So superficiality brought us together (heck – it still does!) but a genuine and unique friendship evolved.

A friendship that has stood the test of time, is raw and honest, contains no judgement only support, where happy things are wished upon for each other and celebrated, passwords are shared, gossip surpasses expectations even when rehashed for the millionth time, is sincere and fun! She knows pretty much everything about me (yes guys be worried – I have to tell someone!) yet still loves me.  Dee is like my Madonna friend (she is like 3 months older then me) and I am her Gwyneth!

Anyways thanks hun for pushing me from one addiction to another, donating hundreds of magazines from the 90s to me (which I eagerly take) and being on that warped wave length with me!
